CMF was selected to install much of the exterior skin of the Automated People Mover at Los Angeles International Airport. The company will fabricate and install nearly 900,000 square feet of .125 aluminum panels, specialty ceiling systems and column covers. This project will completely change the way people get to their terminals, with an elevated and driverless automated train moving them into the airport high above the heavy traffic below. The APM will be approximately two miles long and will include six stations – three in the Central Terminal Area and three outside of the airport at other LAWA facilities such as the CONRAC and ITF.
